New York

As I am writing this, I am sitting on a train heading to the city! I am really looking forward to having a fun long weekend in New York. A few things on my agenda:

-Dinner at Fig and Olive
I received this recommendation from a close friend and so far have only heard good things! Can't wait to
try it!

-Breakfast at Alice's Teacup

-Checking this out at the MET

-Shopping!
I plan on hitting Topshop, Urban Outfitters, and the Nike Store.
I am in LOVE with this dress!

-Tea at the Peninsula Hotel
(Via Cupcakes and Cashmere)

Will update again soon with photos from my trip. Have a wonderful Valentine's day!

  1. Ooh, amazing, please link me with your updates!
I really want to know how Alice's Teacup and Fig & Olive are!

Is Alice's Teacup only for kids or people of all ages? The images were mostly of kids; that's why I'm asking.

TopShop is over-priced; I found a dress there for $70 and then my boss (a NYC-native) took me to another store where I got the exact same TopShop dress for $20-something. I suggest you ask the local NYC-natives in regards to shopping deals, so you don't splurge it all in boutiques (like how I usually do).

What are you checking out at the MET? [the link didn't work]

  2. Hi Elvia! Thanks for checking out my blog. We didn't end up at the Met or Alice's Teacup but will definitely have to stop there at our next trip to NY. Fig and Olive was delicious and a really cool restaurant! Definitely recommend it! Thanks for the shopping advice I will definitely ask around. I love finding great deals! Happy Spring!
